For various reasons, I had taken a fair break from the darts, well Last night played the first return game number 3087255 my last game before then was 285863, a hiatus of 2,801,392 games.

Time sure flies by.

Ha, that game number gap is brutal. I had a similar break last year, life just gets in the way and the board sits in the corner gathering dust.

The funny thing is the muscle memory comes back quicker than I expected, but the scoring confidence takes a lot longer. First few games back I was second guessing every dart. Took me a couple of weeks of just throwing for fun before it clicked again.
